I purchased a 1925 house in Portland that has aluminum windows with broken channel balances (in addition other issues). The one I'm starting with is a 26" long, 1/2 inch wide balance that appears to have been made by Northwest Aluminum Products. I looked online and it seems that company was purchased by Jeld-Wen. The stamp on the balance is 2540K. The width of the bottom shoe is over 1" barely and although I'm not perfect with a tape measure I'm going with the S385 part (bottom shoe 1 3/32"). I just wanted to make sure this is the correct part and wondered if you can verify from my photos.
Thanks.
Beth

Hi Beth,
Based on the information you've provided, I agree that the S385-26 channel balance with a 2540 spring strength option would be the correct replacement option. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
