The metal backing is flat and about 7/16 th wide , it is a double glass storefront

Hello! Thanks for posting. How does your seal compare to our 7 ft. Commercial Door Weatherstrip, product code 58-085 ? Our adjustable astragal seal for commercial entrance doors measures 83-1/4" in length and features a double weatherstrip with a standard pile height of .480". The aluminum channel extrusion measures 1/2" wide. It includes spring clips.

That wont work , the metal strip on the backing is flat and slide into door , end cap of door is not removable

How about our 58-050? It doesn't have a metal backing but it may still do the trick.
