Old pivot bar won't fit in new shoe

Question

I Need to order 12 of the 26 series 900 Spiral Balances yellow tip. I had ordered 1 to make certain it worked,it did.I also ordered a new pivot shoe, 15-045.The opening in the new shoe is too small for the pivot bar on bottom of window to fit into. If I removed the plastic base it will fit but not sure if that is a good idea ?

I'm afraid I can't make out your pivot bar from this photo. Could you remove it from the window and show us a picture of it by itself? Can you also remove your original pivot shoe and show me that by itself? I can't make out your hardware from your photos.
