Old window balance for single hung window

Question

I need replacement pairs of window balances for the balance shown in the attached pics. The numbers 2930 appear on the balance (see pics). The overall length is 31 inches including the white plastic guides. Approximately 1/2 inch (13mm) in width at the metal body. These balances are for a single hung window and are located in the top half of the window track when locked into place for removal.

With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S378, S380, or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

You'll also need 2930 spring strength options for your replacement balances. I'd suggest double-checking the length of your metal channel, which should measure 30" without the end fittings. Thank you, and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
