One coil balance is broken.

Question

This is a picture of the right side balance. It is working. The coil on the left is pulled out. I assume we should replace both sides at the same time? I just wanted to confirm which model we need. It looks like there is no way to easily remove the balance so I understand we're going to have do some cutting?

Hello,

We can't be sure with the hardware still installed, but your housing pivot resembles the 15-087 shown below, which uses the S180 coil springs. You only need to replace the broken parts, but you're welcome to do both sides as a preventative measure. See the videos related on this page to help you through the process. Thanks for posting!
