Many thanks for your correspondence. We have a nylon pin, the 70-195, for locking screens in, but I don't believe it will work in your screens because the hole in the screen frame has been enlarged by the screw. Is it possible to remove the screen and show us if the pin fits into a hole in the window frame? Also, may we see the screen frame? Some dimensions, like the depth and thickness of the screen frame and the diameter of the pin hole, would also be very useful. |
I have included pictures of the frame, and the pin hole. The pin doesn't fit into a hole in the window frame, it just screws up to the side. There is a small ridge around the window frame in which the screen rests. Thank you for you help. Juanita

Hm. Here is a possible solution: since the screen is fitting into channel, you could put corner springs like our 70-030 on one height and the 70-142 finger pulls on the opposite height. Then you you put the side of the screen with the springs in the one channel, swing the screen over to the opposite side channel and slide it in the channel. Let me know what you think. |
