Open and close sliding spring component.

A quick learner from Las Vegas says:
The spring and pully component does not retract very well causing the window to lock up/ The 3 plastic pieces one on the window and the other two on the spring pully pieces are broken. I think I need to replace the plastic piece circled in blue on the window and I need a new spring pully piece.

Hello, thank you for posting,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. The length of the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments should measure 27" long and you will need a 2640 stamp.

Please review to confirm a good fit!

I believe your top sash guide is an older Milgard style. Do you know if that is the brand of the window? If so, we recommend reviewing the dimensions of the 18-009 top sash guide. Just please note that the top edges would need to be trimmed down to be flush with the body so that it will fit in the space available.

Let us know if you have any additional questions!
