Opening for an 80' door

I Have 2 80' slab doors what will be the rough in opening with the hardware be thanks Brent

i want use the sliding door hardware this is a new door opening the doors are 36 X 80 i need to know what the rough opening should be before i frame the opening

I'm assuming these doors are for a closet. We have the Stanley track for the bypass closet door hardware set. Take a look at 23-502. That is the 6" track for two doors 36" wide. You want your finished opening to be 71" wide so the doors will overlap in the middle. As for the height, if you are saying your door now is 80" we recommend to make your opening 81-3/4". Stanley says you can go 1-1/2" min to 2" max, but I think you should be alright at 1-3/4".
