Opening mechanism

Good afternoon,
I am trying to track down the part pictured; the opening mechanism for my casement windows. The one pictured is in decent shape, although dirty, but most of the rest are super rusty and a few are rusted completly through. The windows were installed around 2008, when our condo built. I previously contacted Vinylmax because the only other marking I saw on the windows themselves were the clips that hold the screen say "Solaris". The part I am interested has the word "Truth" in a few places. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hello,

Your window operators can be replaced with the 39-220B and 39-221B Encore Dyad Sill Mount Operators. I am confident these are what you need for the repairs but be sure to look over the dimensions and compare them.

These operators use the 39-375 and 39-376 Encore Truth Folding Handle kits.

Good afternoon,
I didn't realize there were two different parts. I think 39-220B and 39-221B Encore Dyad Sill Mount Operators are good. The parts I need are circled in the attached picture. Those are the ones that are rusted and stuck and some of the pins and slinding track down at the bottom isn't free. You can see some rust on that bracket and the pivoting pin on the right rusted. I just opened furthere and found a # on the bottom piece. Please see attached pictures

The part you are inquiring about is the track slider. It is part of the casement window hinge and isn't something sold separately. I'm happy to recommend the replacements needed for them but I'll need to know the measurement for the length of the track that slider runs in.

Looks like the track is 10". Would 36-048, 2-Bar Hinge Set, 10" be the correct replacement part? Thanks again.

Hello,

Yes, the 36-048 2-Bar Hinge Set is an option. Although, you'll need to be sure to double check the dimensions to confirm that it is the right replacement. There is a chance they may not be an exact match so it is encouraged to replace both the top and bottom hinge.

These can be used for right and left handed applications.

Hello,

Sure! We also have the 36-004-10 and the 36-090-10. The two most commonly used are the 36-048 and the 36-004-10.

Again, be sure to compare the dimensions to your existing hinges.
