Hi, Kevin.

I suspect you may have something like our 39-239B awning operator which uses the 39-536 pivot slide assembly (sold separately). Review the dimensions and pictures on its product page and compare them with yours to see if this matches up to your old assembly.

It's entirely possible that the cover on your old operator cannot be removed. Most older operators have their covers permanently affixed to the base. It's only the newer, Encore model that we sell where the cover is a separate piece.
