Operator handle to work with panama shutters

Home Owner from Rancho Santa Fe, Ca

The previous owner of our house installed panama shutters in most windows and the original crank was obstructed by the frame. They replaced 30 crank handles with the " butterfly" turning knobs. We would like to get cranks if we can. Could you comment on whether any of your folding crank handles could work.

I have attached pictures of windows with and without the shutters and tried to show how the origina handle hits the frame. I understand that it may be hard to tell from the pictures what may fit. I will buy one first to test it. Which would you recommend I try? Perhaps the 39-205. If that does not work is it possible to have a stub handle that would work with a separate removable crank that could have a longer shaft?

Thanks,

Pertti

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you. If you could open the window as far as it will go and show us the arms that move the sash in and out, we'll be able to identify the operator and the handles that are compatible with it. Thank you!
