Operator not working

The operator crank will open the window but slips out when trying to close the window. Instead of turning the gears, it rotates off the operator completely.

Hello there!

It appears the worm gear is stripped which means you'll need a new operator. We can help with that but we'll need more information. Can you open the window and show us a full view of the operator's arms?
