Operator and Lower Link Guide(?) for older Awning Window.

No indication of names/brands/company on windows.
There are pat. number on the Lower Link Guide (pat no 3444648); Operator D-198,20? RD. 1963 CAN.
Window make a snapping sound when I attempted to screw in operator handle which came loose and would not close window.
House built in 1980 in Florida.

Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 39-539 Andersen vent hinge pair.

For the operator, would it be possible to see a side view of the operator link arm? At first sight, the style looks similar to the 39-259. but the dimensions differ than what was provided. Take a look below.

The measurements of the 38-259 line up well. (Mine is flush for all of the screw holes, but I can grind the one flush if needed)
