Option for 29 3 Channel Balance

Question

I need to replace channel balances originally from Caldwell. The information on the balance is "29 3 DN Caldwell". The metal part length is 30". Every thing looks ok if I would order the 30" Series 380 Channel Balance. The question I have is which option I have to choose?

Hi Michael,
For a 30" Series 380 Balance with the markings 29 3, choose stamp option 2930.

A S380-30 balance with stamp option 2930 will carry a window sash weight range of 16 through and including 23 pounds.

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction from the jamb weatherstrip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
