Options on channel balance

Question

I believe I have found in your inventory, a replacement for the channel balance for my Alenco 3710 series window (series 385, 28",with the 15-004 shoe and 19-005 top), however the existing channel is stamped 2790, and the options listed go to 2770. Not sure if the sash weighs more than 39 lb, and is rarely operated. Do you stock the 2790, or will the 2770 work for occasional use?

I would double check your Series. The Series 385 uses a 15-004 shoe, which is notable for its wings, but your old shoe does not appear to have them.

As for the stamp option, I would weigh the sash on a scale just to be certain of what you have. All our balances have a sash weight table that tells you exactly how much weight each option can support.
