Question

I received the replacement 82-398 but the handle doesn't want to stay on this one either. My door is 1.75" thick and I am beginning to wonder if the spindle is just the wrong size? I love this handle and I really want it to work. Is there a different size spindle I could order? Am I only supposed to use the bushing on one side? I am just at a loss.

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. The 82-398 you bought is the only size we have, unfortunately. Our recommendation would be to contact the original manufacturer of the door for assistance. I am very sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions.
