I am sorry to hear about your brother's decision. Can you at least show me pictures of where the handle set mounted to the door? Can you also tell me the hole spacing, or the distance between the center of each mounting hole? I still may be able to help with that information in hand. Many thanks.

Thank you so much for responding here are some pictures and the distance between holes is about four inches.

Also the original handle was light wood color. I would prefer white or something light or paintable if possible.

Thanks for getting back to me. The 82-030, which has a hole spacing of 3-15/16", might work for this door. Take a look and see what you think.
