Hi folks. Hope weekend was nice. Just purchased my home. Back door has sliding screen. It appears that the door side has hook intact. The slot side that the door would hook into is missing.
Could I purchase that slot part from Swisco? Please see attached 3 pix. Thanks. Larry
Hello! I'm not familiar with this exact handle set, but the hook used on it appears to match the hook seen on our 83-126 set. The overall design is similar, as well. I don't know it for a fact but I would wager that the 83-126 interacts with the same kind of keeper as your old handle.
With that logic, you have a few options for the keeper itself. See our 85-011, 85-001, and 85-014 for the most popular options. The major issues here are mounting hole spacing and depth clearance. The former is easy enough to figure out by just measuring the holes in the frame, but the latter is impossible to garner without the original keeper on hand to use as a reference. This may take some trial and error to get right.
