Ordered wrong window lock

Hello, I ordered several window locks a while back to replace ones I have that are broken. I just now got around to installing them and realized they aren't the right size. The hole spacing is correct and the footprint is also right, but the locking part is too high. In the attached photo, the one on the left is the one I'm trying to replace and the two on the right are the ones I bought. The one on the left sits flush on the table and the ones on the right stick up about an additional 1/2 inch. I'm wondering if this item sits flush like the ones I'm trying to replace? It looks like it does but I can't tell from your photo.
