Our house was built in 1965, I do not see any markings on the sliders or hardware.

I am not a window technician, but it looks like I will need to drive out a pin in the casing/frame to remove this roller. This pin is also the pivot point for the height adjustment. Currently the doors have only 2 rollers per a door, but I am told I can install double rollers in place of the originals for 4 rollers per a door. The rollers are 3/4" wide and 5 1/4" long.

Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated!

Hey there! I believe your best solution would be to just replace the wheels and reuse your aluminum housing in your door. Your roller housing, I believe, is no longer available. Look at the rollers and axles suggested. As for a double roller, I'm not sure we have one to fit your bottom door rail. Take a look at our 81-138 tandem roller to see if you could adapt it to your patio door.

Following your advise I reused the original housings and just replaced the wheels. One of the housings was damaged from the wheel being locked up and spinning the axle and eating away the housing. I just replaced that housing assembly from some older doors in our house that are no longer used. If I did not have that option I would have had to replace the whole thing.

I used the 81-237 wheels and 81-203 axles (which I had to grind down some to fit inside the door frame and 81-303 axles for retainers. And the 80-103 track covers. Install super easy!

Also I did finally find the name on my old frames, Andersen of Bradington FL. It was stamped on the bottom frame close to the wheels. Thanks! Wife and kids are super happy!!

You should be able to drill a new hole next to the existing worn out one and get those others working. If you need more height, just move the hole a little lower.
