Outdated block and tackle balances

This window balance is a discontinued, Crossbow style balance. Our S795-28 will likely be a suitable replacement. To determine the stamp option for the balance, you'll need to confirm the exact weight of the window sash.

This balance screws in at the top of the sash, so you'll also need the 26-200 Balance Screw Plug. Take a look at the video tutorials for the Crossbow conversion and the screw plug, for detailed information.

These balances come assembled with the 15-195 1-1/4" close cam T-lock shoe. The pivot bar most often used with this shoe is the 26-021.
