Outdoor Weather Stripping For Window

Home Owner from Mohave Valley, AZ
The 3rd pic shows the plastic stripping. The middle pic shows it installed in the window. It goes at the top, bottom & both sides. The first pic shows the window without the weather stripping. We were told by a local glass company to just caulk the window. We don't like that idea. The sun has made the weather stripping brittle over a 31 year span & it is coming out of the windows in some spots! Thank you for your help!

Unfortunately, I can't determine what you have from these photos. I recommend watching the video below, which will tell you exactly what information we need in order to find a good match.

I appreciate your video but we don't have either of the types mentioned in your video! I could try to take a better picture. Or I could mail you a piece of what ours looks like??
Thank you for your help!

I understand that you have a different type than what we show in our video, but the method of identification is exactly the same. We need to see the end profile and we need the end profile's dimensions. It's also important that the sample we see is completely undamaged. If too much is broken or cracked off, we won't be able to ID it.

We are also unfortunately not able to receive samples due to the national health crisis. We're all working from home, so we'd have no way to access them.

Without seeing the end profile and knowing it's dimensions, we will not be able to assist you. I apologize for the inconvenience.
