Looks like a swissco but has 5/16 spindle need replacement can I grind spindle to fit 40-14j
Outside handle is limp can't get back in

Our 40-150 can accomodate a 5/16" spindle; you simply need to remove the insert inside the handle, which is there to accommodate smaller spindle sizes. See the video below.
