Outside locking door

I recently purchased a Jeldwen model #837766. It is a 60x80 rough opening. I want to change out the handle so I can lock it from either the inside or the outside is your product compatible?

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we would need to see a photo of your original handle set, as well as know the distance between the mounting holes from center to center.

Also, we do not carry any handle sets that are key locked from both sides, which can be a fire hazard. Thank you!

The mounting holes are 4" apart. I'm only looking for a key lock for the outside and a latch from the inside.

In that case, you may want to consider our 82-030 handle set with 3-15/16" hole spacing. The 82-030 is compatible with our 82-310 key lock, which we've related a video for that demonstrates the installation process.

If your original outside pull has a punchout, you may be able to install a key lock without replacing the entire set, but we'll need to see a photo to confirm.
