I have PGT windows in my home built in 2008 and a channel balancer on one of the windows (model H35 SH) has failed. There is a number 29 on the broken channel and from what I've seen on internet, a replacement part can be identified from that number. If that is correct I'd like to order a replacement part.

We'd be happy to help but, unfortunately, the number stamped on the balance only indicates the spring strength needed to support the weight of the window sash but does not identify the correct replacement. We would need to see photos of the balance assembly fully removed from the window, including both ends and the stamp code, to compare to our inventory. Thank you.
