PGT Channel Balances

Quick Learner from Flagler Beach, FL 32136
HI,
I need 4-9/16" channel balances for 2 PGT non tilt windows. Ive attached photoes and it seems they have a 19-005 top and a 15-001 shoe (the top seems to be grooved on the back side). The balances are 29" long and the sash weighs 23.6 lbs. I've ordered other balancers from you in the past, and would like to know how to correspond sash weights to your numbered balances when they are not stamped on the balance. This balance is stamped 28 4 CQ Caldwell.
Thanks for your help,
Marv

Thank you for posting. Sash weights actually don't correspond to any of our balance Series, but rather determine your balance's stamp option. In your case, the stamp 28 4 (or, our 2840 option) is designed to hold a sash weight from 23 to and including 28 pounds.

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

The Series, on the other hand, is determined by what attachments you have on either end of your balance. The balance you sent us pictures of is our S395 series. You will need to order S395-29 with the 2840 option.
