PGT Patio Sliding door roller replacement
Doors are aluminum, approximately 20 years old.
Unfortunately, we do not have any formal instructions for disassembling a door frame to reach the rollers since the process may differ depending on the door and manufacturer. Generally, To remove your roller assembly, you'd lay the door down on a table, or a pair of horse saws, and then remove the bottom frame screws on each side. Then, with a small wood block and hammer, you'd carefully knock off the bottom door rail. You should then be able to slide out the roller assembly at that point.
Depending on how comfortable you are with the process, you may want to consider getting a local professional involved to avoid any structural damage to the door. Once you're able to remove the rollers, feel free to send us a photo and we'd be happy to research a replacement for you. Thank you!
