It is 30" measuring just metal. Has a number printed on it 29-5 KX CMC 7. Do you have a way to interchange this information. I'm not sure what weight I need so I can purchase 2 pair.

Hey there. Assuming this is a standard Series balance, a 30" balance with a stamp code of 29-5 translates to our stamp option of 2950, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 28 through 32 lbs. This only tells us the strength of the balance though. If you need to identify the Series balance you need, send us pictures of the nylon fittings on either end of the balance, and we'll tell you what you need.

Thank you for the photos. Have a look at our S395-30 channel balance. This comes complete with a 19-005 balance top and 15-001 bottom balance shoe. Compare our nylon fittings with ours to confirm this is a match. If so, then you can go with the 2950 option that holds a sash weight of 28-32 pounds.
