PGT screen corners

Quick Learner from USA
I am technologically challenged (I'm old). I needed help to get the pictures from my phone onto your email. Aside from saying "PGT" there is no other reference number or name. The screens were manufactured around 1960, which makes them younger than I!Thank you for your help.

Hello! That PGT stamp is actually a huge clue. I've seen this corner a few times in the past. Now, the bad news is that it's not made anymore and we don't have a 100% guaranteed substitute. The good news is that we have a couple products that we think are worth considering. Start with our 95-246. This is what we usually recommend right off the bat. Carefully go over our dimensions and let me know what you think.

The problem is, we've never tried it out ourselves (it's hard to get a hold of these old screens) and no customer has ever gotten back to us to confirm. As such, this will be a bit of a gamble. I'm sorry we can't offer a better replacement option at this time.

Handy Person from Miami
Hi Tom,

I have the same corner from PGT but without the big PGT logo on it. The windows are NOT that old. I actually had them installed 3-4 years ago so it is odd that PGT stopped using and manufacturing them.

I am a handy, do all person but I am also a landlord. I am also stuck in a pickle as the new tenants claim that the screen was put on wrong when they took possession of the property, fell and broke the corners. This corner is so weak from PGT that all corners have broken so I need to order some from you.

I had spoken to Casey on Friday after all the techs had left for the day and she recommended I look at the 95-246 also. Did the prior person that contacted you about this post ever get back to you with fitment data? Please let me know so that I can order the correct ones in white.

Please take a look at the attachment and advise via email, if possible.

Thank you in advance.

Hey, Robert. I'm afraid they never got back to me, either. At this time it remains our best possible option but we cannot guarantee that it will work.

I do agree that the corner in your photos is the same as the one pictured above, so we're definitely dealing with the same thing. Sorry we can't give a more confident answer!
