I want to order 2 of the replacement spring balances. The window is a PGT single hung, 45" X 30".

Thanks for writing in. This looks like an S395-30. Your old stamp code of 29-9 is from an older rating system we do not use. To know what stamp option to select, weigh your window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each stamp option on the product page. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the prompt response.

I can't remove the sash right now. But I believe that the sash weighs about 30 lbs.
Is it better to err on the heavy side? 2940 or 2950?

I also need 2 of the PGT TOP SASH GUIDES. The one in there now has a top measurement of 1" x 5/8".
Is 18-015 the correct item number?

Hello! I would definitely confirm the exact weight range. You don't want to guess when it comes to sash weights.

As for the 18-015, this is commonly used in PGT windows. Any other day I might recommend it, but earlier this morning I had another customer who had a PGT window and a top sash guide I had never seen before. So while the 18-015 is a possibility, it's no guarantee. I would recommend removing what you have now and comparing it to our photos and dimensions to be sure.
