PPG Herculite K storm door handle

Hello, I need to replace the door handle and possible the stem. I have tightened it over and over again, but it always gets loose very quickly.

The information on the door is:
PPG Herculite K
Trempe Tempered
CAN/CGSB-12.1M
BS 6206-1981-A

15CFR1201 CH
ANSI Z-97.1-1984 I/8U
SGCC-1605

I have tightened the screw in the handle numerous times and it still loosens in very short order. As a result, the door does not latch unless we use the bolt.

What do I need to replace and do you have the parts?

Thanks for getting back to us! We have a couple different sets that may replace this, depending on your precise measurements. I recommend looking at our Storm Door Handle Set Section here and see if you can find a match, specifically with those sets we show at the bottom of the page. We have detailed measurements for each set you can use as a reference.

Following this thread because we have the exact same door (based on the inscription on the glass) and also need a replacement for the handle. I will note my door says 16CFR1201 on it, instead of 15CFR1201, if that makes a difference. I've looked at the door handles on the page that was linked by Tom at SWISCO and the the Pella looks closest but isn't quite right.

Hello,

I have the exact same door and handle as the one pictured above. I need a replacement handle but cannot find anything that fits at my local hardware store. I am in the process of selling my house and need to replace this door handle before closing. Can you please recommend a door handle to replace the one I have?

Hi, Mickey. The information on the glass has no bearing on the door, unfortunately, so we can't use that to recommend a handle. Our suggestion remains the same as it did in 2018: you will need to look through our selection and see if any of our handle sets have the same measurements as what you have installed on your door now. Some examples include the 40-193 or 40-195.

If you can't find anything in our catalog that matches yours, we need to know exactly how yours differs. You will need to be as precise as possible.

Did either of the last posts find the handle to fit their door. I have the same door.
