Pacific Window Channel Replacement Question

Quick Learner from San Diego
Hi,

I recently had one of my window channels break and I'm unsure as to which model I am supposed to buy, and where to buy it. I've attached a picture of the side channel and codes that are on it in hopes that you can help to guide me purchase the correct replacement. I've attached a picture of the window in question, the top and bottom window measure around 33 1/8" for the width and 29" for the height.

Any help understanding where to buy a replacement channel for this would be greatly appreciated!

Just a quick follow up, I found out the name of the item is a window block and tackle sash balance.

Ok so after doing some research (and looking at other posts) it seems that I would want to order the S385-27 using the 2640 option for the weight. Does that seem right? Sorry for so many posts!

Hello, thank you for posting,

To confirm the correct series, we will need to see pictures of the top and bottom nylon attachments. Please also provide a picture of the inside of the metal channel where we can see the connection between the spring and pulley system. Thank you!

Thanks for your response! I'm attaching the pictures in two posts as I can only upload so many pictures at once. Please let me know if you need anything else, thanks again!

Thank you for the additional pictures,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

The length of the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments should measure 27" and you will need a 2640 stamp option. Please review and let us know if you have any additional questions!
