Panalco Sliding Door - maybe from circa 1969?

Question

My sliding glass door won't roll hardly at all... three sliding door repair companies have come out and NONE of the three could tell the brand of the door nor could they figure out what rollers this door would use.  I asked a neighbor who seems to have the same door.  His still has a readable label... it says Panalco.  Do you guys have Panalco rollers to fit this door?

Thanks for posting. It sounds like your door might indeed need new rollers. I am afraid we can't cross-reference that brand with anything in our records. That said, sliding glass door rollers often are brand-independent, and the only way to identify replacements is to remove the old rollers. Honestly if the pros you had to come out and look at the door didn't bother to do this, they were not thorough and may have been hoping to get you to concede and buy a new door.
