Paniflex dimensions

I’ve recently ordered a batch of Paniflex hardware, & it looks very good.
The one thing I can’t find on your website is an illustration showing clearances needed. For example, on a 48” opening for a 4-panel bifold, how wide should the 4 panels be to allow proper operation?
I presume if they’re exactly 12” each, the doors won’t be able to pivot.
Thanks—Larry

Hi Larry! Thanks for your question. The general rule for finished openings for bifold doors is add 2" to the actual door size height and 1" on the door width. Normally the finish size of the door panels are 11-3/4",so you would multiply by 4 to equal 47" and additional 1" for the total finish opening of 48". The pivot blocks should be set back 1" from the track edge. Hope that helps. Let us know how you make out.
