Papaiz storm door lock

Question

I need to replace my door latch. It will not stay closed correctly. I attempted to replace the handles, but that did not fix problem. The inside piece with the latch sticking out measures 7-11/16" long by 3/4" wide. Can you suggest which replacement part I need please.

Take a look at our 40-049 Papaiz lock. It looks a little different, so I can't confirm that it will work for you, but check to see if the dimensions match up to your sample.
