The tape is marked with the # 8 just not sure what to order. It is a 1/2 in thickness

I'm not sure what it is you're looking for. I will need photos of the part in question in order to determine what it is you have. Seeing the other parts it connects to, whatever they may be, would also help.

Thanks, these photos are a huge help. I know just what you need. I recommend the 15-180 pivot shoe and Series 190 coil spring. I'm very confident these will work for your window.
