Attached are a few pics of a patio sliding door handle I'm trying to replace. You can see from the pics I've drilled some holes into the handle to secure it temporarily.
I believe part # 82-036 would work as a replacement. One difference between the handle that's in the door now vs 82-036 is unlike your replacement part, the existing handle doesn't have the white tabs/stubs on the inside handle that go inside the metal door casing.
Please confirm a replacement handle. Thanks

Hello,
I believe you are referring to the screw "bosses". Their purpose is to keep the screws lined up when installing the handles. You might need to make the holes in the patio door a bit larger to accept the 82-036 screw bosses. You might be able to use a rat tail file or drill the holes larger. I believe that this should replace your original handle set with a little retrofitting.
