Hey Jon. Sorry the 82-108 did not work for you. See our Return Policy here. This mounting plate works with the 82-080 and keyed 82-081 4-15/16" handle sets. These handle sets have three basic parts for the inner pull: the pull handle itself, the mounting plate, and then a middle piece sandwiched in between. Unfortunately that middle piece is what you are looking for and it is not sold separately. If you need it, your best option is to go with an all-new handle set, the 82-080 or keyed 82-081.
