Part identification

Question

I have a window that uses the 27" Series 380 Channel Balance (option 2640). The channel believe is fine, but the plastic part on top of the window (see attached picture) is cracked/broken. There are no markings on it. Can you help me identify the part? The entire piece is approximately 1.5 in long and the top part that sticks out the most has a depth about 1/2 in.

Hello! This part is called a top sash guide. What you have here looks to me like the old Milgard sash guide, though if I'm right then you might be in trouble. This part is unfortunately not made anymore.

We have one alternative solution if you don't mind a little handiwork. What I like to use is our 18-009, whose dimensions should be more or less the same. The only major difference is that our part has an extended edge along the top. You would have to trim that off with a utility knife (or whatever you're comfortable using).

You should look over our dimensions just to be safe, though. They should match up in all aspects except for the top edge, which will be larger. If anything else differs, let me know and I can see if we have something better.
