Part identification

Question

I'm looking for the black metal part in the photos. It is on the lower part of the window I'm the hinge side. Appears to attach the window to the track.

What you have here is the hinge slide. These unfortunately aren't provided separately as they're meant to be a permanent fixture of the hinge assembly. That means if yours is broken, you will need an all new hinge altogether.

Based on what I see, my top suggestion would be the 36-048. This is a pretty common sight on windows like yours but you should take note that the base track is 10" long. If yours is a different size, let me know.

Also note that ours may not be identical to yours even if the base track is the same. With that in mind, you will need to replace both the top and bottom at the same time to ensure a symmetrical operation. Some adaptation may also be required. The video below will go into more detail.
