Part identifier inquiry

Quick Learner
I'm looking to find an opening mechanism for an existing casement window that will keep the sash towards the outside of the window frame when it opens. The one we currently have brings it towards the center of the window opening when it opens. Can you confirm if the parts you're recommending will do what I"m looking for?

Hi, I currently have truth operator #31858 and a 14" hinge set on my casement window. The problem I'm running into with this particular setup is that when the window opens, the sash is brought in towards the center of the window opening. This is shrinking the opening under 20" making it not in compliance with city code and is being flagged by the city. Is there a different operator and hinge set I could install on this window that keeps the sash towards the outside of the window frame when opening to allow for the minimum 20" opening. I've attached pictures for reference. Thanks!

Hello,

I would recommend starting by taking a look at the 36-090-10 Egress hinge set used on casement windows. I have used this to make the width of the opening wider for egress in the past. I believe I made up three to four inches using this operator. Hopefully, this will solve your Egress situation. Thanks for posting!
