Part needed to hold crank mechanism in place

The photos above show the "ring nut" that does not stay in place when I crank the window closed. The crank "driver" mechanism (photo 1) is held in place using this "ring nut" screwed securely into the crank fitting (photo 5) to hold it snuggly in place (photo 4).
Since the ring nut is old and threads seem to be stripped, the "nut" pops out when I try to close the window ... the driver just unwinds and comes out of position. This is the second window crank that has done this, but at two different homes and two different window manufacturers. I might need a tool to drive and secure the nut in the crank mechanism. Actually that may be all that I need in order to tighten the "ring nut" into place to hold the crank mechanism securely in place.
What do you suggest? Parts? Drivers?

Hello,
We'd be happy to help but since the spline that the handle attaches to is not repairable, the entire operator will need to be replaced. To get started, we'll need to see your entire assembly with the window open so that the arms that move the sash are fully visible to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

Here are photos of the crank assembly with and without the handle. Sorry, I don't have a photo of the open window, but you can see that it is a center crank mechanism.

Unfortunately we cannot move forward with identification without seeing the window open. We have a few different operators that use this style of base and the difference is the arm pattern. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I finally got back to the property and was able to open the window for a photo of the arms in the opened position. Hopefully this is what you needed, Casey?
