Part of the door closure but not the handle piece fell down into the door

My door was no longer locking I took it apart to replace the handle but found out it's not the handle but the piece that fits in this,space that has fallen into the door it's mami 3520

If the mortise lock fell into the door, odds are it's the 82-218. You may want to look over our measurements just to be sure it lines up with the space available in the door. I think you will find the video below helpful, as well. We have a little trick to make sure the new one won't fall in the door, either.
