Part replacement

I need to replace the locking mechanism on this sliding door. The 'hook' and door latch that opens and locks to move the hook are loose. The hook is not consistently raising and catching to lock the door.

Thanks for writing in! We may be able to supply a replacement recommendation for the window hardware you need. Although, I'll need to see a photo of the part to identify the correct match.

The stamp provided only pertains to the tempered glass in the window. Unfortunately, it cannot be used to identify the hardware.

Thanks for your post! Your patio door handle set reminds me of the 82-030 Sliding Glass Door Handle Set. If your would like to convert it to a keyed version, take a look at the 82-030A Centered Keyed Handle Set.

The lock can be replaced with the 82-218 Mortise Lock. There is a video tutorial, below this thread, with instructions on removing and installing it from the door. The keeper appears to be either the 89-029 or the 89-041.

The dimensions for each of these parts can be found on the website.
