I have a double hung window. The sticker on it has the following info:
Wid: 24 3/8
Hgt: 23 5/8
Dte: 12/21/2011
So.: 03636388
Mod: 413
Grid: 0Hx0V
29 3/4X 53 1/2
Bot 002
300
Seq: 00232
(barcode) 213546945300
I was cleaning the windows, unlatching them on the sides and tilting them out to clean the outside pane. I discovered that the top pane also tilts out, but I had to take the bottom pane out of the window frame to do so. The bottom pane went back in okay, but now the window doesn't stay open by itself anymore. There must be a piece that fell out that keeps the window open. I don't see anything that fell out, but I'm at a loss as to what happened.
Any thoughts on this? I'm happy to send photos or video if it would help.

Hello, thank you for posting,
If the window sash is no longer staying up, it is most likely a balance issue. To further review, are you able to provide pictures of the hardware in the window channels? From there we can get a clearer idea of the overall style. Thank you!
