Hi - looking to replace only the plastic tube that surrounds the window balance.

Unfortunately, the tube that encases the inner coil of your spiral balance is not available separately. We should still be able to help but the entire balance would need to be replaced on both sides of the window. To get started, we'll need to see the entire balance removed from the window.

We'll also need to confirm the exact length and diameter of the broken housing tube. The length would be the same as the inner coil, not including the spiral that extends from the end, but the diameter of the tube that is breaking from your balance is a key dimension.

There should also be a colored piece of plastic at the base of the tube. If not, we would also need to confirm the exact weight of your window sash to determine the correct strength option for your replacements. We have a guide to help you through the process, which you can find here. Thank you!
