Parts for 20 year old window

I ordered this part to replace broken parts for my 20 yr old double hung windows. I thought they would fit given that they matched the old parts both in dimensions and look. However, the black slider (?) (see pics) stuck out just so slightly more then the original that it wouldn't fit. I was able to make them fit by one of two methods: 1. If the slider on the old carrier remained intact after extraction, I popped it out and replaced the black one; 2. If #1 was not possible, I used an orbit sander and lightly sanded down the black slider. Both of these methods worked fine. For future needs, what carrier would you recommend to avoid having to "adjust" the carrier before use? Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know this issue. We don't have an exact match for your old shoe at the moment, but we're working on having stock made up to add to your inventory. Please give us a little time to do so and we'll let you know as soon as it's available for you to review.

Thanks so much for investigating this issue. Hopefully you'll find an appropriate part but as I noted above, I do have workarounds in case there is no part to match.

We finally have everything we need. Please see our new 15-231 pivot shoe. We think this will be a good replacement option for you. Look it over and let me know if you agree!
