Parts for Caradco casement windows

Question

We need to remove the cover over the mechanism as shown in the photos attached. Does it merely pop off?  We tried gently and it didn't seem to move. Thought we should check. Also, we have to replace the Caradco window glass. We have the glass but would like to replace the weatherstrip/seal on the windows. Can you provide that or, if not, where can we find the seal?  Is it brand specific or is there a generic seal?  Thank you for your help.

Thanks for posting. With some operators, the cover is not meant to be removed; it's literally built into the mechanism. If the cover is cracked or broken, it means the entire operator needs to be replaced. Fortunately we can help you do this; but we will need to see the operator removed from the window, link arm(s) included. A bird's eye photo is particularly helpful.

As for your weatherseal, yes it is indeed generic. To help you replace it, seeing a sample of it's 'end profile' along with dimensions would be most helpful. Thanks!
