Parts for Harvey Windows please

Handy Person from Maine
Hello, Looking for the (bulb?) gasket at top and bottom of windows and the weatherstripping (fibers embedded in metal/plastic spine) that mates up at the top and bottom sashes to keep out drafts.

I have one window where the tilt window cam locks is broken, so looking for one of those also. The metal cam allows the window to be removed (not captive). So, the windows are tilt (and remove) type when the cam is turned the slot opens up and the male post becomes free for removal.

Attached is a photo of the Harvey manufacturing serial numbers.

The windows are sufficiently old that I'll by reserves, maybe the posts that go into the cam slots and some locks if you can cross reference all of the part numbers somehow. Does Harvey put part numbers on the locks (I can remove them to check the underside)?

THANK YOU AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to say that I would not be able to identify any of the hardware you are searching for based on the sticker information from the door or the brand. I'll need to see photos of each piece of hardware to make a proper identification.

To identify the weather stripping you need, I'll need to see a photo of the end profile of an undamaged piece, removed from the window. Take a look at the video below for an idea of the information we'll need to make the correct replacement recommendation.

Based on the description of the metal cam, it sounds like you have some sort of pivot shoe in the window channel that interacts with the window pivot bar. These are the photos likely allowing the window to tilt in. I will need to see both of these parts removed from the sash and the window channel if you intend to replace them. You'll also need to have them removed to confirm any measurements.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have in the meantime.
