Parts for Quaker windows

A landlord from Bloomington, Minnesota says:
Hello, I have to replace some balances for Quakers windows. After reading your helpful descriptions on parts identifications I continue to question the correct top which I believe to be the 19002 and shoe which I believe to be the 15-002. I have enclosed a photo of the typical balance.

The balance is 1/2". The stamp on the side is 16-4. However, when I measure from the metal end to the other metal end, the distance is 17". I have the same situation with a balance that measures 21" and is stamped 22".

I need balances in assorted sizes and have recorded the stamped numbers. In all instances the stamped number is 1" smaller than the physical length of the metal piece.

I look forward to your help in ordering the correct pieces.

Thanks for posting. The length and stamp difference you noted is normal. A 17" long balance is supposed to have a stamp starting with "16." The reason why this is the case is a little involved, so to avoid going on a tangent just know that the stamp is not a hard representation of any physical detail of the balance. It is only a code that indicates what its spring strength might be. If you have the 19-002 top and 15-002 bottom, I would recommend the Series 351 channel balance.
A professional from AR says:
I believe this is a Quaker window. Alex Vinyl Casement. CPD#QWPM-010-025

The part I need for this window is the bottom plastic guide that holds the locking slide arm that slide up and down to lock the window. This piece slide guide is 3/4"high X 1-1/16" wide X 9/16" thick when and screwed with 2 screws. With a SLot in the middle for the arm to go through. I also need the middle & top hook looking slides. I wish I could send you photos. But I can not. I will need 2 sets of 3 for the 2 window I need to repair.
Thanks Rick

Unfortunately, I don't know what you need for this window. Photos will be necessary in order for us to check our inventory for a match. Without that, we have no reference with which to base a recommendation.

Please let me know if you're able to upload photos for us to review and we can work from there. If you aren't able to submit photos then I'm afraid we can't be of assistance with this project.
